On Thursday 18 August, we have our annual day of prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for an increase in Vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life. 
    Since the 1980s and at the instigation of Archbishop Couve de Murville, each parish in the Archdiocese of Birmingham has had an annual day of Prayer for Vocations.  

    This Thursday’s Day of Prayer will begin in church at 940am with the Rosary and Mass for Vocations.  The church will be open during the day for silent prayer.  A special prayer book has been prepared for the day and will be available.  The conclusion of the prayer will be Benediction.
