On the eve of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary the shrine in our parish garden was blessed after it had been repaired and repainted by one of our parishioners. We started the evening with a bit of a social and a fish and chip supper. By George they are good!

Father Martin was on holiday abroad for a few days recently. He was offered a place in the captain’s seat in the cockpit!
