Leek & District Foodbank is part of the national Foodbank Network, providing emergency food to local people in crisis.
The Foodbank Network is an initiative of The Trussel Trust and was founded in 2004.
Leek & District Foodbank was founded in June 2013 and is a joint community venture of Churches Together in Leek & District, operating from Leek Pentecostal Church.
In 2014 we provided food for 1,433 people in Leek & the surrounding area, amounting to over 17 tonnes. This equates to around 13,000 meals.
