Street Pastors are trained volunteers from our local churches who care about their community. We patrol in teams of men & women, usually from 10.30 pm to 2.30 am on a Friday night, to care for, listen to and help people who are out and about on the streets of Leek.
Street Pastors is an initiative of the Ascension Trust and was founded in 2003.
Drawing members from all our local Churches, Leek Street Pastors have been out on the town since 2012. We are a joint community venture of Churches Together in Leek & District , operating from Trinity Church.
Each patrol is backed by a team of Prayers Pastors who pray for us and those we meet on our travels. So, if you have a special intention or someone close you would like us to pray for, simply ask a Street Pastor when you meet them.
