Parish Novena before the celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

As the celebration of the Assumption is of great importance to our parish, it would be right to be spiritually well prepared. On Friday of this week, we will begin a Novena of prayer for God’s blessing on our parish, our school, homes and families. We will use this prayer at the end of the Bidding Prayers everyday from Friday onwards:

Almighty and eternal God,
who has raised to the glory of heaven,
in body and soul the Immaculate Virgin Mary, the Mother of your Son, grant us, we pray,
the grace to constantly strive for a heavenly reward so that we may merit to be her companions in glory. Through Christ our Lord
