HELP NEEDED URGENTLY
Budding shepherds please be on the lookout!
Can you find all the little lost sheep? Then the shepherds can go and see baby Jesus. It seems they’ve wandered into Leek, as some people have spotted them in the shops around town!
This year’s Churches Together Nativity Sheep Trail is happening right now!
So far, only one sheep has found its way to the Town Crib at the foot of the Christmas Tree in the Market Place.
What to do:
Just complete the Nativity Sheep Trail with all the names of the sheep against the shop you found them in. Then hand into any of the churches in Leek, Co-op Funeral Care, Leek Post & Times or The Foxlowe (a red posting box is provided in each of these locations) and you’ll be entered into a prize draw as a BIG thank you for helping the shepherds.
Poor Saul. He doesn’t like heights!
The winner will be drawn at the Leek & District Churches Together Community Service held at Trinity Church, Russell Street, on Sunday, 8th January 2017 at 4pm. Why not come along to see who wins? – Everyone is welcome!
Nativity Sheep Trail sheets have been distributed to all our town’s First/Primary schools. Don’t worry if you don’t have a copy of the form. You can download it by clicking on this: Churches Together in Leek & District Nativity Sheep Trail 2016.
Help pass on the real message of Christmas: download the Nativity Sheep Trail, read the Nativity story on the first page to your child(ren)/grandchild(ren)/niece/nephew, then go on a discovery adventure around town to find the sheep.
And don’t forget to say hello! to Little Lost Saul who has been the first to find Baby Jesus in our Town Crib!
A fun-filled and blessed Christmas to all!
Our thanks go to the participating establishments: Aphrodite Designs, Bamboo, Becalmed, Bo-Belles, Dougal’s Den, Footprints, The Foxlowe, Leek Post & Times, Moorland Cookshop, Mr Simms, The Cabbage Rose, Unique and Yankee Candle.
